One of the most important steps in the installation of your artificial turf is the preparation of the base.
Here are a few basic steps to give you the best results:
- Remove any grass, sod, tree roots, mulch, rocks
and any debris and any "in-compatible" soils - to a depth of
approximately 3-4 inches - Install any curbing, edging, or other border materials
- Install a weed barrier fabric
- Spread a 3” lift of Blessing's Artificial turf Base material
- Grade the base as smoothly as possible
- Lightly mist (dampen) the dry base surface with water
- Compact the entire surface until smooth and at the desired height
